Cookies & privacy
Cookies and your data
This is a small, private rental site. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run it and to understand roughly how the pages are used.
Cookieless measurement by default
Until you accept cookies, our analytics (Google Analytics 4) runs in a cookieless mode using Google Consent Mode v2. That means no analytics or advertising cookies are written to your device and nothing is stored to recognise you on a later visit.
In this mode the site still sends anonymous "pings" so we can see how many pages were viewed. Each ping contains the page address and title, the referring page, approximate location (country or city level, derived from a truncated IP address), and basic device and browser information. Google models overall visit numbers from these pings, without identifying individual visitors.
If you accept cookies
Accepting lets Google Analytics store a first-party cookie so repeat visits within a session can be linked together. This gives us more accurate figures on which pages are popular and how people arrive on the site. We never use it for advertising or profiling, and we don't sell or share the data.
Your choice itself is remembered in your browser's local storage under the key "10buffa.consent". That entry never leaves your device.
The enquiry form
When you send an enquiry we receive the details you fill in: your name, email address, the dates and number of guests, and any message. They are stored in the site's own database and emailed to the host so we can reply to you. They are used only to answer and manage your booking request, never for marketing, and are deleted once they are no longer needed.
How to withdraw or change your consent
You can change your mind at any time using the button below. You can also clear cookies and site data for this site in your browser settings, which removes both the stored choice and any analytics cookie.
Change your cookie choice
This resets your saved preference and brings the cookie banner back so you can choose again. Analytics returns to cookieless mode straight away.
